Superaxe

This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage provided by Burder’s Lane

Enterprises Pty Ltd, trading as Whitlands Engineering (“Whitlands Engineering”), for

products sold under the SUPERAXE and REX brands. Our warranty adheres to

Australian Consumer Law and is in addition to any statutory rights you may have.

1. Scope of Warranty

Whitlands Engineering warrants its SUPERAXE and REX products (the “Products”)

to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and

maintenance, subject to the terms and conditions below.

2. Warranty Period

SUPERAXE Models:

– Frame Warranty: 24 months from the Date of Despatch.

– Hydraulic Components Warranty: 12 months from the Date of Despatch.

REX Models:

– Warranty on All Components: 6 months from the Date of Despatch.

ALL Models:

– Warranty on engines is as per engine manufacturer’s warranty period.3. Date of Despatch

The warranty period begins from the Date of Despatch of the Product from Whitlands

Engineering’s facility. The Date of Despatch will be recorded on the purchase

documentation or invoice and serves as the start date of the warranty period.

4. Warranty Coverage

During the applicable warranty period, Whitlands Engineering will, at its discretion,

repair or replace any defective component of the Product that is covered under

warranty. This includes defects arising from:

– Material or manufacturing faults

– Defects that occur under normal operating conditions and intended use

5. Exclusions from Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

– Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling of the Product

– Modifications, repairs, or alterations made to the Product by persons or entities

other than Whitlands Engineering

– Wear and tear, or consumables

– Damage resulting from inadequate maintenance, including failure to follow the

maintenance guidelines as outlined in the Product’s user manual

6. Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, the customer must:

1. Contact Whitlands Engineering and provide the Serial Number of the Product.

2. Describe the nature of the defect or problem.

3. Follow any additional instructions provided by Whitlands Engineering for

inspection or repair.

 

Whitlands Engineering reserves the right to inspect the Product or request additional

information to evaluate the claim. Repair or replacement of defective components

under warranty does not extend the original warranty period. Having repairs made

without approval from Whitlands Engineering may lead to Warranty claims being

rejected.

7. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is provided as an additional benefit and does not affect any statutory

rights under Australian Consumer Law. Whitlands Engineering’s liability under this

warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as described above.

In no event shall Whitlands Engineering be liable for incidental or consequential

damages, loss of profits, or any costs arising from the use or inability to use the

Product.

8. Consumer Rights

Our Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian

Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure

and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Customers are also entitled to have the Product repaired or replaced if it fails to be of

acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
