Designed and built in Australia, the WS3150 Superaxe is Australia’s favorite wood splitter. This powerful and robust machine features a large workspace and a hydraulic block lifter, making it ideal for individuals, hire companies or small commerical operations – with engine, hire and registration options to suit.
Since 1993, the legendary Superaxe has earned it’s reputation as the industry leader. The WS3150 Superaxe is the middle-sized machine in the range; with more space to work and powerful engine options. Built to order in our Victorian workshop, this machine is perfect for individuals, hire companies or small commerical operations.
Featuring a 200kg capacity hydraulic log lifter, larger wheels, larger workbench and a larger frame the WS3150 is the second most powerful splitter in the range. The innovative double handed control with auto return ensures ease of use, quick cycle times & unmatched safety. The WS3150 is fitted with a 9hp engine delivering a whopping 21 tons of splitting power and a 7 second cycle time. A 13hp is also available. This model has all the attachments required to fit/retrofit an elevator or couple with optional infeed hopper for even greater output.

The WS3150 is available with a 9hp or 13hp genuine Honda GX series engine. The 9hp engine gives a cycle time of 7 seconds, and the 13hp option gives a cycle time of 6.5 seconds. Both engines are covered by extensive manufacturers warranty, are fuel efficient and easy to start.
Superaxe is the preffered woodsplitter for the Australian and New Zealand hire industry. The WS 3150 is able to be fitted with a hire kit, which includes heavy duty mudguards, a heavy duty swing up jockey wheel, permanent LED lights, reflectors, base plug mounted at the front of the draw bar and VIN plate. All models are road-towable and can be registered for legal towing. If you are a Victorian resident, Whitlands Engineering can organise registration for you; interstate customers must file their own forms to the relevant Road Traffic Authority. The Registration kit includes permanent LED lights, reflectors, heavy duty mud guards and VIN plate
Load your wood directly into your truck or trailer and save double handling. This 3.6m Elevator fits to the WS3150 & WS4150 Superaxe models. The elevator will reach up to 3 meters and folds for travelling. It utilises a manual winch mechanism to fold and unfold elevator and set up takes only a few minutes. Also ideal for stockpiling. 6, 9.5 & 13 meter free standing elevators give more height and allow for easy positioning.

The WS4150 features a 18hp Vanguard engine, 200kg capacity hydraulic block lifter, large bench area, offset splitting head, longer blade, in-bench rollers for easy block manoeuvring and the innovative double handed control system for safe and easy machine operation. This model has all the attachments required to fit/retrofit an elevator or couple with optional infeed hopper for even greater output.
