REX LOG SAW

As a one man operation, the REX Log Saw can produce as much firewood as three to four men on chainsaws. A definite saving on labour and no work cover issues

The REX log saw has been developed to dock large diameter firewood logs into blocks for splitting. It may be used in conjunction with the REX Firewood Processor, where the blocks are fed directly into the hopper – creating an extremely efficient firewood processing system.

The log saw will handle logs from 1.5m to 7.5 meters in length; and is capable of docking logs up to 1 mtr in diameter. The heart of the machine is the 48hp Deutz Diesel air cooled engine, which belt drives the cutting head – a 48inch bar running a ¾ harvester chain. Other functions include live log deck, log infeed trough, saw dust removal conveyor and block conveyor. The log deck will hold up to 4 large logs for processing
