The REX log saw has been developed to compliment the REX Firewood Processors by docking firewood logs into blocks for splitting. The blocks are transferred by way of an elevator .

The log saw will handle logs up to 7.5 meters long and is capable of docking logs up to 1 mtr in diameter. All the cutting is done using ¾ harvester chain on a 1 meter + chain bar. Cycle times for cutting are approximately 3 cuts per minute on 1 meter diameter logs and quicker on smaller diameters. The machine has a large infeed deck and can hold up to 4 large logs for processing. Combined with the Rex Firewood Splitter this equates to an extremely efficient process and will greatly enhance your firewood production
